[IT Delivery Center] SQL Database Administrator

Eurofins is seeking a SQL Database Administrator to join our IT Delivery Center team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance optimization of our database systems, ensuring high availability and security. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic, international organization dedicated to providing analytical testing services across various industries.

As a SQL Database Administrator, your primary responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and upgrading database servers such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL. You will create and manage database objects, monitor performance, and implement tuning strategies. Additionally, you will develop and maintain backup strategies, perform disaster recovery planning and execution, and ensure data integrity and availability. Implementing database security policies and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations are also key aspects of this role.

The ideal candidate should have at least 1-2 years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator, with a deep understanding of SQL Server architecture, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions. Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is beneficial. Proficiency in English is required to effectively collaborate within our international teams.
