Additionally, the role involves leading or supporting functional testing of reports and dashboards, creating and maintaining functional documentation, supporting reporting and analytics workstreams during D365FO deployments, and providing training and post-Go-Live support to finance users.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven to eight years of operational finance experience in roles such as Reporting Analyst, Management Accountant, Finance Controller, or Business Controller within a medium or large international organisation. Hands-on experience in producing, analysing, and interpreting financial and management reports is essential. Deep expertise in financial and management reporting, including preparation and analysis of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Trial Balance, ageing reports for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, cost reporting, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting outputs, and statutory and compliance-related reporting is required. Strong proficiency in delivering end-to-end reporting solutions within large organisations using tools such as Power BI and advanced Excel is expected. Familiarity with reporting in D365FO, AX2012, or similar ERP systems is considered a significant advantage. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential, and proficiency in additional languages will be considered an advantage.
This role may involve occasional travel, typically between 20% and 40%, depending on the project phase, to regional offices, subsidiaries, or project sites to support activities such as user acceptance testing, workshops, and Go-Live support. The position is highly collaborative and transversal, requiring interaction with Finance, IT, external partners, and both corporate and regional business and IT teams within a multicultural and international environment. Contracts are offered with a minimum duration of one year, with a strong likelihood of extension to two years. A B2B arrangement is preferred, and there is flexibility for hybrid remote collaboration with international teams. Permanent contracts may also be considered. Professional development is a key aspect of this role, offering opportunities to deepen practical expertise in D365FO implementation and to participate in global rollout projects that have a significant impact across the organisation.
