The IT Business Analyst for Finance Reporting & Analytics will collaborate with Eurofins' finance stakeholders and IT teams to design, develop, and deliver financial reporting and analytics solutions based on D365 Finance & Operations data. This role is integral to the D365 Centre of Excellence (CoE), contributing to the global harmonization of financial reporting and data models across more than 40 countries. Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities include gathering reporting requirements from stakeholders, maintaining the reporting inventory, designing report layouts and KPIs, and translating these into clear functional specifications for tools such as Power BI and Excel. The analyst will analyze D365FO financial data structures, validate data quality, support data extraction and modeling activities, and ensure accurate representation of key financial statements. Additionally, the role involves leading or supporting functional testing of reports and dashboards, documenting test scenarios, tracking defects, and ensuring reporting solutions meet accuracy, performance, and usability standards before release to production.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven to eight years of operational finance experience in roles such as Reporting Analyst, Management Accountant, Finance Controller, or Business Controller within a medium or large international organization. Hands-on experience in producing, analyzing, and interpreting financial and management reports is essential. Strong proficiency in delivering end-to-end reporting solutions using tools like Power BI and advanced Excel is expected. Familiarity with ERP systems, especially D365FO/SCM, AX2012, or similar, is a significant advantage. A bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

This position offers opportunities for professional development, including enhancing practical expertise in D365FO implementation and participating in global rollout projects. The role may involve occasional travel, typically between 20% and 40%, depending on the project phase, to support activities such as user acceptance testing, workshops, and Go-Live support. Contracts are offered with a minimum duration of one year, with a strong likelihood of extension to two years. A B2B arrangement is preferred, with flexibility for hybrid remote collaboration with international teams. Permanent contracts may also be considered.
