Internship – IT Finance Controlling & Digitalisation
Eurofins is seeking an IT Finance Controlling & Digitalisation Intern to join our Group IT Finance Controlling team in Brussels. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of finance and technology within a dynamic, international environment. Eurofins is a global leader in life sciences, providing a comprehensive range of analytical testing services to clients across various industries.
In this position, you will assist in the annual budget cycle, forecasts, and mid-term planning for IT expenses. Your responsibilities will include supporting monthly reporting by generating financial statements, updating management reports, and tracking key performance indicators. Additionally, you will collaborate on financial digitalisation initiatives by testing new tools and improving existing systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and transparency across the network.
The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in engineering, finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field, with a preference for those in their final year of studies. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas, is essential. Experience with VBA programming and knowledge of Coupa are advantageous. A strong interest in IT systems and digital tools, along with fluency in English, both written and spoken, are required. The role demands an analytical mindset, attention to detail, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and comfort working in a multicultural, cross-functional environment.
This compensated internship spans six months, with a flexible start date in July, August, or September. An internship agreement with your university is required.
