As an International (Senior) Product Manager Socks at NUR DIE, you will play a pivotal role in our international merchandising team, focusing on the strategic development and management of our sock product line across Europe. This position is a two-year maternity cover based in Rheine, offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of our sock category within a dynamic and innovative environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing a data-driven portfolio strategy that balances new innovations with established products, ensuring synergy across various brands while respecting their unique identities. You will collaborate closely with different brands, markets, and the direct-to-consumer team to create an international portfolio that aligns with market trends and consumer preferences. Additionally, you will actively contribute to process improvements, identifying optimization opportunities to enhance efficiency.

The role encompasses strategic and operational leadership over the entire product lifecycle of knitted socks for women, men, and children. You will be tasked with optimizing the product portfolio by identifying strategic gaps and phasing out underperforming styles. Regular performance analysis of your products will be essential, leading to clear, actionable measures to drive success. Furthermore, you will monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviors to inform new product ideas and support our innovation pipeline from conception to launch.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least five years of experience in product management or marketing, preferably in an international wholesale environment. A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, fashion management, merchandising, or a related field is required, with a master's degree being advantageous. Proficiency in portfolio and assortment management, as well as tools like Excel and Power BI, is essential. Strong analytical skills, a team-oriented mindset, intercultural sensitivity, and a keen sense for brands and products are also crucial. Fluency in English is mandatory, with French language skills considered a plus. Willingness to travel within Europe (approximately 20%) is expected.
