Intern - Legal TET

The Legal Transaction Execution Team (TET) at OakNorth Bank is seeking an intern to support its operations in Gurugram. OakNorth Bank, established in 2015, has provided over £10 billion in loans to ambitious entrepreneurs across the UK, contributing to the creation of more than 40,000 new jobs and 29,000 new homes. As an intern with the Legal TET, you will assist in tracking deal milestones and preparing documentation for lending transactions. Your responsibilities will include supporting the review of loan agreements and security documents under supervision, as well as maintaining transaction records and ensuring proper filing of documentation. Additionally, you will shadow interactions with internal teams such as Credit, Risk, and Operations, as well as external counsel, to understand execution workflows.

The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in Law, Finance, or a related field and has a strong interest in banking, lending, and legal documentation. Excellent attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential. A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn will be highly valued in this role.

This internship provides practical experience in banking and financial services legal processes, exposure to loan documentation and compliance requirements, and mentorship from experienced professionals in the Legal and Transaction Execution teams.
