Bitpanda, a leading European investment platform, is seeking a Legal Intern to join their Legal and Regulatory Team in Vienna, Austria. As a Legal Intern, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Bitpanda's corporate development and regulatory compliance efforts. Your responsibilities will include advising and assisting various operational areas, providing legal support across multiple fields, and drafting and revising a wide range of legal documents such as contracts, terms and conditions, and internal and external policies. Additionally, you will prepare legal advice on diverse issues, including civil law matters, corporate governance, partnership agreements, and compliance, while collaborating closely with different departments to navigate and shape the company's legal framework.
Ideal candidates will be in the final stages of a law degree from an Austrian, German, or Swiss university, with a strong focus on civil law and/or supervisory law, and an interest in IT or corporate law. Prior experience in an international law firm or as in-house legal counsel in an international company is advantageous. A keen interest in crypto-assets, crypto-related products, and traditional financial products is essential. The role requires a team-oriented, solution-driven individual capable of working independently and collaboratively, with fluency in both English and German.
