Instrument Chemist

Eurofins is seeking an Instrument Chemist to join our team in Girraween, NSW. The Instrument Chemist will be responsible for performing routine analytical and physical tests, as well as sample preparation. Key duties include managing personal workflow, ensuring timely testing of samples, maintaining the integrity of results, and adhering to established methods. The role also involves preparing and maintaining chemical solutions, calibrating and maintaining instruments with up-to-date maintenance logs, and supporting laboratory technicians as needed.

Candidates should have experience with analytical instruments such as GC-MS, GC-FID, ICPMS, and Auto Titrators. Proficiency in instrument-related software and a minimum of two years of laboratory experience are preferred. Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Science are advantageous. Strong communication skills, a commitment to continuous learning, and a hands-on approach with strong abstract reasoning abilities are essential.

This full-time, permanent position offers both day and afternoon shifts from Monday to Friday. Employees will receive an additional 1.5% superannuation on top of the standard pay rate.
