As a Food Safety Inspector at Eurofins Bureau de Wit, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring food safety and quality standards across various client sites in the Haarlem and Amsterdam regions. Eurofins Bureau de Wit is a leading control and advisory firm specializing in food safety, operating under the umbrella of Eurofins Food, Feed & Water, with ten locations throughout the Netherlands.
In this role, you will independently prepare and conduct audits focusing on food safety, product quality, and hygiene. Your responsibilities include inspecting facilities and processes, reviewing operational manuals, and collecting samples. Post-audit, you will discuss your findings with clients, providing concrete recommendations for improvements in line with current legislation and applicable hygiene codes. Accurate documentation and reporting of your observations are essential aspects of the job. By working closely with clients on-site, you will build long-term relationships and become a trusted specialist in food safety.
The ideal candidate holds a completed MBO-level education, preferably in food, hospitality, or retail sectors, and possesses a strong affinity for food safety and quality processes. You should be analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable asking critical questions. Proficiency in Dutch at a B2 level is required, and residency within a 30-kilometer radius of Haarlem or Amsterdam is preferred.
