Inside Sales Specialist
Our client, a food manufacturing company, is seeking a detail-oriented Inside Sales Specialist to support day-to-day sales operations and customer account activity. This role is focused on order management, customer communication, and ensuring a smooth sales process from order entry through delivery.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and customer service are key.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management & Sales Support
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently in internal systems
Manage order entry, updates, and changes while ensuring data accuracy
Track order status and provide timely updates to customers
Customer Service & Communication
Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders, products, and delivery timelines
Respond promptly to customer requests via phone and email
Address and resolve order issues, discrepancies, and service concerns
Pricing & Documentation Support
Prepare and provide quotes based on established pricing guidelines
Maintain accurate records of pricing, contracts, and customer information
Support basic pricing updates and ensure alignment with internal policies
Cross-Functional Coordination
Partner with operations, logistics, and production teams to ensure timely fulfillment of orders
Communicate customer needs and order requirements internally
Assist in resolving shipping or inventory-related issues
Qualifications
2+ years of inside sales, order management, or customer service experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or ERP systems preferred
Experience in manufacturing or food production environments is a plus
