Inside Sales Associate (Remote)
The Inside Sales Associate at Eurofins plays a pivotal role in driving revenue and assisting customers with their DNA testing options. As the first point of contact for prospective clients, this individual employs consultative sales techniques to educate, inform, and close sales of paternity and relationship testing services. The ideal candidate is motivated, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while meeting or exceeding sales goals. This position offers the opportunity to work from home after completing 90 days of in-office training and meeting required performance metrics.
Key responsibilities include fielding 30-40 inbound calls per day, actively listening to and documenting customer details, and quickly analyzing customer needs to provide logical solutions. The associate will explain DDC's products and services professionally via phone, email, text message, or chat, utilizing consultative sales techniques to overcome objections and close sales. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and sensitivity when handling confidential or emotional inquiries is essential. Additionally, the role involves achieving or exceeding performance goals, escalating customer needs to leadership when necessary, researching required information using available resources, and attending training and coaching sessions to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
Required qualifications include one to two years of previous sales experience in retail, inside sales, or logistics, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Strong persuasive communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers are essential, along with strong emotional intelligence to handle sensitive conversations with discretion. The candidate should be results-driven, able to maintain and sustain individual and company goals, and possess excellent time management and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in computer and typing skills with the ability to learn new software is necessary, as well as the ability to demonstrate and uphold the highest levels of ethical behavior and confidentiality. Completion of HIPAA training is also required.
Compensation for this position ranges from $15.50 to $16.50 per hour, based on experience, with a $750 guaranteed commission for the first three months. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
