Information Security Analyst
Eurofins is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join our Threat Hunting team, focusing on proactively detecting advanced threats that evade traditional security controls. This role involves hypothesis-driven hunting and deep telemetry analysis across various environments, including endpoints, networks, identities, and cloud platforms.
The primary responsibilities include conducting proactive threat hunts, developing and executing hunt scenarios based on threat intelligence and emerging adversary techniques, analyzing large datasets from multiple security platforms to uncover malicious activity, identifying detection gaps, and collaborating with detection engineering teams to enhance security measures. Additionally, the role involves investigating weak signals that may indicate attacker presence, leveraging scripting and automation for data analysis, and collaborating with incident response teams during active investigations.
Candidates should possess a strong understanding of threat hunting methodologies, deep knowledge of attacker tactics and the MITRE ATT&CK framework across multiple platforms, hands-on experience with SIEM platforms and advanced query languages, and proficiency with EDR/XDR platforms and endpoint telemetry analysis. A solid understanding of Windows internals, Linux systems, Active Directory, authentication flows, and identity attacks is essential. Scripting and automation skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash are also required.
