Hybrid Senior Sourcing & Negotiation Specialist
Eurofins is seeking a Senior Sourcing & Negotiation Specialist to join its North American Procurement Department. This role involves full end-to-end ownership of assigned categories, including project identification, sourcing leadership, and prioritization in alignment with the Category Manager. The successful candidate will manage savings plans to deliver significant value and lead the integration of assigned portfolios related to mergers and acquisitions.
Key responsibilities include building a project pipeline, leading the sourcing process with technical experts, and negotiating with suppliers to achieve cost savings while enhancing quality and reducing delivery times. The specialist will collaborate with stakeholders up to the level of Eurofins Laboratory Executives (ELE) Presidents to understand business requirements and drive sourcing initiatives. Additionally, the role involves influencing change management to ensure the adoption of sourcing practices, conducting market research for cost and risk assessments, and preparing reports and presentations for management.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years of purchasing and negotiation experience, preferably with a background in the construction industry. Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and standard functions, is required. Experience with Coupa Source-to-Pay is advantageous but not mandatory. Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously are essential. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Sciences is preferred.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $75,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, and paid vacation and holidays. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a hybrid work arrangement based in Leola, PA.
