HVAC Foreman

The HVAC Foreman at BESIX is responsible for supervising and executing daily HVAC maintenance activities at the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), ensuring systems operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with maintenance plans. This role involves directing technicians and completing assigned work to maintain optimal system performance.

Key responsibilities include overseeing preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems such as chillers, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), and ventilation systems within the STP plant. The foreman assigns and monitors daily tasks for technicians, troubleshoots faults, responds to breakdowns to minimize downtime, ensures compliance with maintenance schedules, and adheres to safety protocols including Permit to Work (PTW) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

Candidates should possess a Diploma or Technical Certificate in HVAC, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of HVAC maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role, preferably within STP or industrial plants. A strong understanding of HVAC systems in operational environments, the ability to read technical drawings and manuals, experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and knowledge of safety requirements are essential.
