HRI AI Specialist (Robotics)

Hyphen Connect is seeking a Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) AI Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing advanced technologies that facilitate seamless and intuitive interactions between humans and robots. As an HRI AI Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include developing intent-recognition models utilizing gaze, gesture, and voice data. You will program socially aware navigation algorithms that respect human personal space and design visual and auditory feedback systems for the robot's user interface. Your work will directly impact the user experience, making interactions with robots more natural and efficient.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) or cognitive science as applied to robotics. Experience in conducting user studies and testing interaction paradigms is essential. Additionally, proficiency in rapid prototyping of AI-driven voice and visual interfaces is required. These skills will enable you to design and implement innovative solutions that enhance human-robot collaboration.
