HR Associate - Eurofins NSC Canada, Inc.

Eurofins NSC Canada, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Associate to join our Human Resources team in Toronto, Canada. This position supports the Eurofins businesses in Canada and will support further acquisitions and growth. The HR Associate is a generalist with the ability to work with multiple business units. Reporting directly to the Director, Human Resources, this position must be flexible and adept at handling multiple and quickly changing priorities for different Eurofins companies.

The HR Associate serves as the key liaison between the local business unit and the corporate HR team, ensuring smooth communication and alignment on human resources activities. This role supports the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on recruitment coordination, system data management, training support, and basic employee relations. Key responsibilities include facilitating new employee administrative onboarding, maintaining accurate and organized HR records, assisting in payroll and benefits administration, managing and updating corporate and business employee handbooks, and ensuring compliance with Canadian labor laws and regulations.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience in an HR support or coordination role. The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately is essential. Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail are required. The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and knowledge of Canadian labor laws and HR best practices are also necessary. The candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to professional development and staying current with HR trends.
