Higher Education Account Executive

Canva is seeking a Higher Education Account Executive to join our team in Austin, Texas. This role focuses on managing the university lifecycle within the LATAM territory, driving strategy, execution, and results for a portfolio of institutions. The Account Executive will collaborate closely with administrators, faculty, and students to deliver impactful, campus-wide implementations of Canva's design platform.

Key responsibilities include owning the university lifecycle by developing and executing strategies to drive monthly active user growth. The role involves fostering relationships with university administration, onboarding staff and students via Single Sign-On, and providing strategic sales support to ensure successful deployment across multiple departments. Additionally, the Account Executive will focus on the education community by delivering customer transformation strategies aimed at enhancing educational outcomes. Understanding user lifecycles, identifying trends through data analysis, and driving retention and engagement are also critical aspects of the position.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the higher education market, with the ability to communicate effectively with instructional technology specialists and professors about how Canva can improve student learning outcomes through design and collaboration. Fluency in Spanish is required, and proficiency in Portuguese is a plus. Sales expertise in education software solutions, excellent collaboration skills, experience implementing new technologies, and a growth mindset are essential.
