Eurofins Agroscience Group, a leading European service provider, is seeking temporary assistants for fieldwork in open-field studies. This role involves supporting our field teams in conducting trials for the approval of plant protection products, working with various naturally occurring organisms such as plants and animals.
Key responsibilities include collecting plant samples, honey, and other organisms like bees, bumblebees, and worms, counting them, and documenting results using standardized GLP methods. Additionally, you will observe bee colonies, bumblebees, and wild bees alongside our beekeepers, prepare field areas by mowing and marking, and work predominantly outdoors in small, rotating teams.
Candidates must possess a valid Class B driver's license and have an interest in outdoor work with living organisms. While prior experience is not mandatory, a background in natural sciences or related fields is advantageous. Essential qualities include flexibility, communication skills, reliability, teamwork, manual dexterity, and a willingness to learn. Proficiency in English and basic MS Office skills are also required, along with readiness for weekend work.
We offer insights into ecotoxicological trials for evaluating plant protection products, training in GLP quality systems, and the opportunity to work outdoors with a friendly team. This role provides a diverse and responsible position within an engaged team handling a variety of tasks.
