Health Planner III
CannonDesign is seeking a Health Planner III to serve as a subject matter expert and planner on healthcare projects, working under the direct supervision of a licensed Architect and project leadership. The initial assignment involves a 2.0+ million square foot healthcare facility at Mayo Clinic’s campus.
In this role, the Health Planner III will actively seek to advance industry standards by developing innovative solutions that address evolving research needs. Responsibilities include collaborating with project teams to provide technical expertise in programming and planning, participating in user group meetings to refine program needs and assess space utilization, and effectively communicating planning concepts to project teams and owners through verbal, graphic, and written reports. The role also involves assisting in the development of architectural drawings and specifications, incorporating Integrated Sustainable Design solutions, and maintaining excellent relationships with existing and potential clients.
Candidates should possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field, with at least 6 years of related experience, including a minimum of 2 years as a subject matter expert on healthcare projects. Current licensure or registration in the United States is preferred, along with LEED accreditation. Strong technical knowledge, coordination skills, and the ability to build rapport with project teams and clients are essential. Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam is required.
The salary range for this position is $73,800 to $92,200 annually, with potential eligibility for discretionary bonuses.
