Head of Technical Field Operations, Autonomous Airpower
Anduril Industries is seeking a Head of Technical Field Operations for its Autonomous Airpower division, based in Costa Mesa, California. This leadership role focuses on advancing and formalizing the company's support and sustainment capabilities, particularly for autonomous air systems. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and managing comprehensive logistics strategies to enhance the deployment, maintenance, and sustainability of Anduril's hardware solutions.
Key responsibilities include directing all Technical Field Operations activities across various programs, ensuring effective execution, process optimization, technical oversight, and budget monitoring. The role demands the implementation and maintenance of logistics systems and standards to ensure efficient operations. Additionally, the candidate will lead and develop a high-performing team, collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and execute logistics goals, and participate in engineering efforts for product research, development, testing, and integration.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Department of Defense or government logistics, including leadership roles in operations, manufacturing engineering, or supply chain management. A strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to government logistics, preferably concerning aircraft, is essential. Experience with Air Force or other military branch Integrated Logistics operations, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally in unstructured environments are also required. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance is necessary.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $254,000 to $320,000 annually, with actual compensation varying based on factors such as experience, education, and critical skills.
