Head of Risk

Hyphen Connect Limited is seeking an experienced Risk Management Director to lead the development and implementation of comprehensive risk frameworks for our global institutional crypto exchange team. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring robust risk management practices within our rapidly evolving lending and trading operations.

The Head of Risk will be responsible for developing and maintaining risk management frameworks tailored to our lending and trading activities. Key duties include conducting thorough risk assessments, implementing effective mitigation strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, the role involves monitoring and reporting on risk exposure and performance to senior management, as well as providing guidance and training to team members on best practices in risk management.

The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of experience in risk management within traditional finance or cryptocurrency sectors. A strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and regulatory frameworks is essential, along with a proven track record in developing and implementing risk management strategies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with strong communication and leadership abilities, are also required.

This position is based in Taiwan.
