The Head of Remote Payment Services UK will lead the operational aspects of Remote's UK-regulated payment entity, playing a pivotal role in the company's expansion within the UK market. This position involves close collaboration with regulators, government officials, and industry bodies to ensure compliance and foster strong relationships. The role is integral to Remote's mission of enabling global employment by providing seamless payroll solutions.
Key responsibilities include overseeing all processes related to the UK payments entity, acting as the primary decision-maker to achieve growth objectives while adhering to regulatory standards. The individual will manage risk, payment operations, product, and IT functions, and lead management board meetings. Additionally, the role involves developing internal policies, preparing for operational audits, and ensuring the implementation of efficient internal control systems.
Candidates should possess over seven years of experience in payments strategy, legal, operations, or entity management, preferably within payments infrastructure or mass payout solutions. A minimum of five years' experience with a Payments Institution or electronic Money Institution regulated by the FCA is required. An in-depth understanding of UK financial legislation, strong project and stakeholder management skills, and effective communication abilities are essential. Applicants must be UK residents and fluent in English.
The annual salary for this full-time position ranges from £92,450 to £104,000 GBP.
