Head of Legal

Tailscale is seeking a Head of Legal to lead and build its global legal function. This role involves advising executives and cross-functional teams on corporate governance, product development, privacy, data security, intellectual property, employment, commercial matters, compliance, and international operations. The Head of Legal will establish legal strategies, processes, systems, and operating models, hire and develop the legal team, manage outside counsel, support strategic transactions and partnerships, and translate complex legal and regulatory issues into practical business guidance.
