Turbineai is seeking a Head of Finance to lead and enhance its financial operations. This role offers full ownership of the finance function, reporting directly to the CFO, and is pivotal as the company progresses beyond its recent Series B funding. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, hands-on professional eager to take on financial management responsibilities within a scaling organization transitioning from an R&D-focused to a more balanced commercial and R&D-oriented structure.

Key responsibilities include overseeing all finance functions such as Accounting, Controlling, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and AR/AP. The Head of Finance will act as a strategic partner to the CFO and leadership team, providing insights and recommendations to support long-term planning and business transformation initiatives aimed at achieving growth and profitability targets. Additional duties encompass managing annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, financial planning processes, ensuring compliance with local regulatory, tax, and legal requirements, and leading a high-performing finance team of four full-time employees.

Candidates should possess over 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in leadership roles such as Finance Lead, Finance Manager, or Head of Finance. Experience in startup, scale-up, or SMB environments is preferred, as is a strategic and commercial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. A deep understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance frameworks, including HAS and UK GAAP/IFRS, is required. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel, along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, are essential. Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in Hungarian is advantageous.
