Hazardous Locations Engineer

Eurofins is seeking a Hazardous Locations Engineer to join our team in Cary, North Carolina. This role is both technical and client-facing, ideal for individuals with experience in product design for process or industrial equipment, or those from certification bodies or test laboratories. Key responsibilities include assessing products against national, regional, and international standards for hazardous locations, preparing technical reports and certificates, and developing test plans in collaboration with test engineers. The role also involves conducting tests in our laboratories or at client sites, providing technical advice to clients, and preparing quotations alongside the sales team. Occasional domestic or international travel is required.

Candidates should have 2-5+ years of experience with hazardous locations standards such as UL/CSA/IEC/EN 60079 series, UL 1203, and UL 121201. Experience with ordinary location standards like UL/CSA/IEC/EN 60950-1, 62368-1, and 61010-1 is also beneficial. An engineering-related educational background is required, along with authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
