The Group Director, Supply Side Excellence at WPP Media will lead the supply-side strategy across programmatic and out-of-home inventory, focusing on revenue growth, supply path optimization, and commercial performance. This role is highly technical and vendor-facing, emphasizing expertise in demand-side platforms (DSPs) and supply-side platforms (SSPs), partnership management, negotiation, and identifying new supply-side revenue opportunities.

Key responsibilities include managing and developing a team of Directors and Senior Managers, overseeing supply-side partnerships with DSPs, SSPs, and technology vendors, and driving supply path optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and supply quality. The role also involves negotiating with partners to secure commercial advantages, aligning supply strategy with vendor deals, and supporting internal teams with training and best-practice guidance.

The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of DSPs and SSPs, a strong understanding of digital supply and programmatic trading, and proven experience in managing vendor relationships and commercial negotiations. Additionally, experience in delivering supply-side revenue growth, efficiency improvements, and a strong understanding of supply path optimization are essential. Leadership experience and strong stakeholder management and communication skills are also required.

Preferred qualifications include experience working for a DSP, SSP, ad tech platform, or in a supply-side commercial role, as well as exposure to platforms such as PubMatic, Index Exchange, Amazon, Yahoo, or The Trade Desk. Experience working across programmatic and out-of-home supply is also advantageous.
