Grondwerker

As a Grondwerker at BESIX Unitec, you will be an integral part of our Underground Infrastructure - Cables & Ducts department, contributing to high-quality infrastructure solutions. BESIX Unitec specializes in cable and pipeline construction, automation, remote control, interconnectivity, and intelligent energy management, aiming to be the leading technology partner in the infrastructure sector across Belgium, the Netherlands, and beyond.

Your primary responsibilities will include breaking up road surfaces, excavating and filling trenches and pits both manually and mechanically, manually digging test trenches, and pulling cables and installing various utility lines. These tasks are essential for the successful completion of our infrastructure projects.

We are looking for candidates who are comfortable with outdoor work and early hours, possess a valid driver's license B (additional licenses are a plus), have proficiency in Dutch with basic knowledge of French being advantageous, and are flexible regarding work locations. Residency in the regions of Ghent, Aalst, Lokeren, Dendermonde, Herentals, Loenhout, or Lommel is preferred.
