Graphic Designer
As a Graphic Designer at Monks, you will be instrumental in creating engaging visual content for one of the largest automotive companies globally. Collaborating closely with copywriters, account managers, creative directors, strategists, and a dynamic team of creatives, you will produce a wide range of innovative materials. This role requires a proactive, adaptable professional with a penchant for collaboration and high design standards, focusing on crafting visually striking, strategically aligned, and flawless designs that resonate and drive results.
Your key responsibilities will include driving the creative process from ideation to production, ensuring innovative and consistent deliverables. You will critically evaluate major projects to maintain creative excellence and alignment with client goals. Presenting work confidently to clients alongside Creative Directors, articulating creative visions, and enhancing brand messages will be essential. Building and nurturing strong client relationships through active listening and understanding their objectives and feedback is also a crucial aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in design and art direction within advertising and marketing. You should demonstrate resilience under pressure, adapting to shifting priorities and meeting stringent deadlines consistently. Collaborative design experience, working effectively with creative leads and copywriters to achieve brand-aligned, strategic designs, is essential. Professional presentation skills, the ability to critically assess ideas from a conceptual lens, and experience in crafting brand style guides for cohesive touchpoints are also required. A background in the automotive or production industries is preferred, along with a modern, digital-centric portfolio demonstrating excellence across formats such as digital, video, and social media. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Slack, and other design and collaboration tools is necessary.
