Grants Writer
A mission-driven organization is seeking a Grants Writer to support fundraising efforts through strategic grant development and management. This role is responsible for identifying funding opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and managing the full grant lifecycle to support organizational growth and impact.
Key responsibilities include researching and identifying grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies. The Grants Writer will write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals and applications, manage the full grant lifecycle—including tracking deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements—and collaborate with internal teams to gather program data, budgets, and impact metrics.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field, along with at least two years of grant writing experience, preferably within the nonprofit sector. A proven track record of securing grant funding, exceptional writing and editing skills, strong research and organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple deadlines and priorities are essential. Familiarity with grant databases and fundraising tools is considered a plus.
The position offers a salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package. This is an on-site role based in Los Angeles, providing an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful mission within a collaborative and supportive work environment.
