Graduate Software Engineer
Fever is seeking a Graduate Software Engineer to join our Backend team. This full-time role is tailored for recent graduates or final-year students eager to launch their careers in software engineering within a dynamic production environment. As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain backend systems that support Fever's platform. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include writing clean, efficient code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to the design and implementation of scalable solutions. You will also engage in troubleshooting and debugging to ensure optimal system performance.
The ideal candidate holds a recent Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or is in their final year of study. A solid foundation in programming and software fundamentals is essential, along with a strong motivation to learn modern backend development in a real production environment. Experience with Python or Java, relational databases and SQL, Redis, Celery with RabbitMQ, agile methodologies, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and RESTful APIs is advantageous.
Fever offers a 6-month full-time placement with the possibility of extension and potential for a permanent contract. Compensation is up to €24,000 per year. The initial 6 months are based at our offices in Madrid or Barcelona.
