Canonical is seeking a Graduate HR Generalist to support its Americas (AMER) region. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a globally distributed HR function within a leading open-source software company. The position is remote, aligning with Canonical's commitment to a distributed work environment.

The HR Generalist will be responsible for providing HR support by addressing team members' inquiries regarding employment and contracts, maintaining the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) with accuracy, and managing global projects related to engagement, training, or cultural initiatives. Additional duties include processing new hires, supporting benefits enrollment and payroll processes, and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and data accuracy.

Candidates should have a strong academic record from high school and graduate studies, with internship experience in an HR or People team, preferably within the technology industry. Essential skills include excellent verbal and written communication, the ability to manage complex workloads under pressure, and a high level of integrity in handling confidential data. Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is considered a plus.
