Government Contracts Attorneys
Axiom is seeking experienced Government Contracts Attorneys to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, attorneys will be embedded within in-house legal departments, providing comprehensive legal support on state, local, and federal government contracts. Axiom is a leader in alternative legal services, offering innovative solutions to a diverse client base across various industries.
The primary responsibilities include advising clients on all aspects of government contracting, such as contract formation, negotiation, performance, and termination. Attorneys will assist clients in navigating government procurement processes, including bid protests, requests for proposals (RFPs), and contract disputes. Additionally, they will provide counsel on compliance matters related to government contracts, including adherence to regulations like the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), as well as certifications and reporting requirements.
Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on government contracts, ideally within an IT corporation. A strong knowledge of U.S. federal acquisition regulations, agency-specific regulations, and other laws governing government contracts is essential. Familiarity with state and local procurement laws, regulations, and procedures, including experience with public sector contracting and regulatory compliance, is also required. Applicants must be actively licensed and in good standing in a U.S. state.
The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles ranges from $104,500 to $325,000 per year. Compensation decisions are based on various factors, including experience, skills, certifications, location, and business needs.
