As a Government Affairs Policy Analyst at LG Electronics, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the company's legislative and regulatory objectives. This position is integral to LG's Government Affairs team, focusing on advocacy efforts across local, state, and federal levels to support and enhance LG's policy priorities. In this role, you will collaborate across departments to develop and implement legislative and regulatory agendas that promote business growth aligned with LG's values. Your responsibilities will include identifying opportunities and risks from pending legislative and regulatory initiatives, contributing to advocacy strategies on key policy matters, and engaging with trade associations and consultants to keep business leaders informed of relevant public policy developments. Additionally, you will draft policy-related briefing materials, manage priorities within your portfolio, and represent LG at industry events as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of experience in government relations, such as roles within Capitol Hill, the executive branch, trade associations, corporations, or non-profits. Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills are essential, along with a deep understanding of the legislative and political process, particularly in areas like energy, trade, and tax policy. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required, as well as experience working with trade associations and industry groups.

LG Electronics offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 USD for this position.
