GOC | Data Engineering, Senior Executive/Manager

The Global Operations Centre (GOC) at WPP Media is seeking a Senior Executive/Manager in Data Engineering to lead data transformation initiatives and build scalable data management solutions. This role involves collaborating with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high-impact solutions in a multicultural environment. WPP Media is WPP's AI-driven media operating unit, bringing together media, data, and partnerships to deliver creative personalization at scale.

The primary responsibilities include developing automated data management and reporting solutions to enhance efficiency, designing and maintaining ETL processes using SQL to integrate data from multiple media platforms into cloud-based data warehouses, and establishing data quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy. Additionally, the role involves monitoring automated jobs, troubleshooting data issues, and developing interactive dashboards to provide actionable insights for clients.

Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field, with a strong expertise in SQL and data engineering tools. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field is required. Hands-on experience with data cloud platforms such as Google BigQuery, Snowflake, or AWS is essential, along with proficiency in data automation tools and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is also important.
