Eurofins Agroscience Services is seeking a Principal Investigator to join our team in Poland. As a global leader in analytical testing services, Eurofins provides comprehensive support to the agricultural sector, including efficacy and residue studies for plant protection products. The Principal Investigator will be responsible for conducting field trials in agricultural and horticultural crops, including application, assessment, and harvest analysis. Duties include meticulous documentation of activities, environmental conditions, and trial results, as well as preparing detailed study reports. The role also involves maintaining communication with clients and regulatory bodies, managing field station resources and equipment, and coordinating trial locations and compensation agreements with farmers.
Candidates must possess a higher education degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Biology, or a related field. Experience in conducting field trials, including application, assessment, and harvest analysis in agricultural and horticultural settings, is essential. A solid understanding of current issues and solutions in crop protection, along with knowledge of legal regulations concerning the use and distribution of plant protection products, is required. A valid category B driving license is also necessary.
Preferred qualifications include proficiency in English and familiarity with ARM software. Eurofins offers full-time employment under an employment contract, co-financing of private medical care, participation in an employee referral program, and stable employment within a well-established company.
