The Global Supply Manager at Divergent will oversee global supplier relationships, execute sourcing initiatives, and ensure the supply of mission-critical components for in-house 3D printer and capital equipment development, Divergent-produced automotive and aerospace structures, and broader organizational procurement needs. This role requires deep collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Program Management, and Finance to support an aggressive product development and production ramp roadmap.

Key responsibilities include developing sourcing strategies for assigned categories such as capital equipment subsystems (lasers, optics, motion systems, gantries, sensors, controllers), critical manufacturing equipment (CNCs, metrology, robotics, automation hardware), and indirect procurement (facility equipment, services, consumables, MRO). The Global Supply Manager will analyze global supply markets to identify capable suppliers, lead supplier selection processes from RFx through sourcing award, and define and improve sourcing standard operating procedures. Additionally, the role involves acting as the sourcing lead for internal 3D printer builds and vehicle platform milestones, translating project BOMs and schedules into actionable procurement plans, and supporting engineering in managing design iterations with suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in global supply management, strategic sourcing, or procurement, preferably within the automotive, aerospace, or capital equipment industries. Strong negotiation skills, experience with supplier development and qualification processes, and the ability to manage complex cross-functional projects are essential. Proficiency in cost modeling, should-cost analysis, and total landed cost modeling is also required.
