Global Sourcing Manager - Power Equipment
Graphcore is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager – Power Equipment to lead the sourcing strategy and supplier engagement for critical power infrastructure components supporting its AI compute platforms. This role is integral to ensuring the company's hardware and systems infrastructure meet the highest standards of capacity, cost-efficiency, quality, and delivery performance. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, and finance teams to develop resilient supply chains that support global infrastructure deployment.
Key responsibilities include owning strategic sourcing activities for power equipment and infrastructure components, developing and executing multi-year commodity strategies aligned with engineering roadmaps, and translating technical specifications into sourcing strategies and negotiation frameworks. The role also involves leading complex commercial negotiations, building cost models, securing supply continuity through capacity planning and risk management, and conducting executive supplier business reviews to drive performance and alignment. Additionally, the manager will ensure supplier agreements protect Graphcore’s long-term commercial interests.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related technical field, along with over 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing or technical procurement. Strong sourcing experience related to power infrastructure or power equipment technologies is essential, as is a proven track record in negotiating complex supplier agreements. The candidate should have the ability to translate technical product requirements into commercial sourcing strategies, demonstrate strong financial acumen including cost modeling and total cost of ownership analysis, and exhibit excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
