The Global Quota & Planning Lead at Canva is a pivotal role within the Sales Strategy and Programs team, responsible for designing and managing the global quota process. This position involves translating top-down revenue goals into fair, data-informed targets at the territory and representative levels, ensuring alignment with Canva's growth objectives. The role is based in San Francisco, offering flexibility in work arrangements to empower team members to achieve their goals.

Key responsibilities include leading the end-to-end global quota process, building and maintaining models and frameworks for quota methodology, and partnering with Finance, RevOps, and Sales Leadership to align quota plans with business targets. The role also involves owning and maintaining revenue models, collaborating with the Compensation team to synchronize goaling and compensation plans, managing the global sales forecast process, and coordinating with Recruiting and the People team to manage headcount across the Sales and Success organization.

The ideal candidate possesses over six years of experience in a fast-paced SaaS sales organization, with strong analytical expertise in SQL and advanced Excel/Google Sheets for complex modeling and forecasting. They should demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills, clear and direct communication abilities, a knack for building scalable processes, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams. A motivation to impact and support team success is essential.
