Global B2B Growth Marketing Lead
The Global B2B Growth Marketing Lead at Block is a strategic role within the B2B Commerce Marketing team, focusing on driving results for Afterpay and Cash App. This position involves overseeing Account-Based Experience (ABX), Demand Generation, Marketing Operations (MarOps), and Lifecycle Marketing, collaborating closely with Product, Data Science, Sales, and Account Management teams to generate qualified leads and identify growth opportunities.
Key responsibilities include managing a team responsible for ABX, Demand Generation, MarOps, and Lifecycle Marketing, as well as external agency relationships. The role entails owning the core paid performance program across all channels, managing the Growth Marketing operating expenses, and overseeing the planning, execution, and optimization of paid performance campaigns designed to drive measurable incremental growth. Additionally, the position requires developing an audience-first approach to performance media, identifying testing opportunities, experimenting with new tactics, and collaborating with Content Marketing and external partners to develop insight-led briefs aligned with business priorities.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of professional experience leading Growth Marketing in commerce platforms, fintech, SaaS, or related industries. They should possess strong skills in influencing cross-functional stakeholders to drive successful business outcomes, a proven track record of driving new leads and reducing churn via lifecycle retention strategies, and experience managing marketing operating expenses and contracting external agencies. A solutions-oriented and highly collaborative mindset, along with the belief that no job is too big or too small, is essential.
