German Translator - Freelance AI Trainer Project

As a German Translator in our Freelance AI Trainer Project, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the linguistic capabilities of advanced AI models. Our team is dedicated to developing AI systems that deliver accurate and context-aware translations, thereby improving cross-cultural communication and supporting global users.

Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating and refining AI-generated translations to ensure grammatical accuracy, fluency, and cultural relevance. You will challenge the model with idiomatic expressions, ambiguous phrases, and varying tones, documenting any shortcomings and providing insights to enhance translation quality and consistency.

We seek candidates with a strong command of both German and English, ideally with a background in professional translation, linguistics, localization, or language education. Experience in technical, literary, or media translation is highly valued. Clear communication skills and the ability to articulate translation decisions are essential.

This is a remote, contract position offering an hourly rate between $23 and $34.33, depending on experience, expertise, and geographic location. As a contractor, you will need to provide a secure computer and high-speed internet connection.
