German Language Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project

As a German Language Specialist in our Freelance AI Trainer Project, you will play a pivotal role in advancing AI language models by providing expert linguistic insights. This remote, contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing AI's understanding and processing of the German language.

Your primary responsibilities will include engaging with AI models to assess and improve their handling of German grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics. You will design and execute language scenarios, verify the models' factual accuracy and logical coherence, document errors, and propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

The ideal candidate holds a master's or PhD in German language, linguistics, or a closely related field. Experience in peer-reviewed publications, teaching, or hands-on linguistic analysis projects is highly valued. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex linguistic concepts clearly are essential.

Compensation ranges from $23 to $34.33 per hour, determined based on experience, expertise, and geographic location. As a contractor, you are expected to provide a secure computer and high-speed internet connection. Please note that company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and paid time off do not apply to this role.
