General Manager - (Southwest)
Bird, a global leader in micromobility, is seeking a General Manager for its Southwest region. This role is pivotal in overseeing the operational success and profitability of Bird's services in the area. The General Manager will be based in Los Angeles, CA, and will be responsible for managing a team dedicated to delivering seamless experiences to riders and communities.
The General Manager will oversee a team of at least five direct reports and more than 50 indirect reports, ensuring the achievement of forecasted goals and business outcomes. Key responsibilities include driving revenue growth, enhancing city profitability, and managing relationships with city stakeholders and partners. The role also involves leading cross-functional projects to improve operational capabilities and ensuring the readiness and placement of vehicles to maximize revenue.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience demonstrating proficiency in leadership, operations, and business management. A minimum of seven years in operations, strategy, or supply chain management, along with at least five years of people management experience, is required. The ideal candidate will have a data-driven approach, proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, and be willing to travel up to 25% within the Southwest US.
