General Manager - Nordics
The General Manager - Nordics at Fever is a pivotal role responsible for launching and managing Fever's presence in the Nordic region. This position involves building a personal brand as a senior leader in the live entertainment industry and representing Fever's interests across the market. The General Manager will manage and build a highly effective senior business development team, initiate and lead strategic business development efforts, and set up an initial network of event organizer relationships as well as the local sales process.
Key responsibilities include ensuring long-term success for partners at Fever, meeting and exceeding ambitious revenue targets, and thinking strategically and pragmatically about technology, data analysis, operations, and expansion. The role also involves collaborating continuously with senior cross-functional stakeholders in the business, reporting and being responsible for quarterly performance goals, communicating product and process needs to headquarters, and working with product and engineering teams to deliver on them. Additionally, the General Manager will collaborate and share best practices with fellow General Managers covering other regions and lead certain global initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in consulting, commercial, or general management, with a history of managing impactful projects and significant problem-solving skills. A data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking are essential. The candidate should possess stellar networking skills and the ability to make impactful partnerships happen, along with a strong track record of achieving goals and exceeding business expectations. Entrepreneurial DNA, a commercial mindset, and a fearless attitude are crucial. Experience in high-growth, high-impact projects and a top-notch academic background (MBA is a plus) are also desired. Fluency in English is a must, and fluency in Dutch, Norwegian, Danish, or Swedish is a plus.
