General Management Traineeship (Food)
Eurofins is offering a two-year General Management Traineeship within its Food, Feed & Water business line. This program is designed to build a strong foundation for future leadership roles by engaging trainees in diverse projects across various locations in the Netherlands. Eurofins is a leading international life sciences company specializing in bio-analytical testing services, committed to ensuring the safety and quality of food, water, and the environment.
Trainees will undertake four significant projects, with at least two focusing on Business Development and Operations. Responsibilities include implementing innovative systems, developing new business models, and overseeing acquisitions. The first project is based in Graauw, concentrating on coordinating and implementing a new Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), with approximately 40% on-site work. Subsequent projects may be located in other Eurofins facilities in the Netherlands or internationally, such as in France or Germany.
Candidates should possess a completed master's degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Technical Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management. Fluency in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written, is essential. Ideal applicants are structured, result-oriented, and proactive in identifying and addressing challenges. A strong sense of responsibility and reflective capability are also important. Willingness to work across multiple locations, including potential international assignments, is required.
Eurofins offers a competitive salary, 25 vacation days, 8% holiday pay, and a lease car. Additional benefits include a performance-based bonus linked to project and personal goals, a solid pension scheme, and discounts on supplementary health insurance. Trainees will participate in the Eurofins Graduates Program, receiving support through hard and soft skills training, coaching from senior management, and access to the Young Eurofins community comprising over 75 trainees. The program emphasizes personal development towards a management position, providing significant autonomy and a steep learning curve at the start of one's career.
Eurofins fosters a dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment, encouraging initiative and offering ample opportunities for international career advancement. The company values personal and leadership development, dedicating approximately 10% of trainees' time to training, coaching, and peer review sessions. This commitment ensures that trainees are well-prepared for future leadership roles within the organization.
