General Liability Pre-Suit Attorney
Morgan & Morgan, P.A., a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful, is seeking a General Liability Pre-Suit Attorney to join their Tampa, Florida office. As a General Liability Pre-Suit Attorney, you will be responsible for the day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work, including drafting and filing pre-litigation documents, overseeing settlement negotiations, and managing a team of 6-10 Case Managers. You will guide clients through the case process, complete approvals for liability issues, and ensure compliance with key performance indicators. The focus will be on personal injury cases, primarily automotive, with tasks such as conducting examinations under oath (EUOs), taking recorded statements, and handling personal injury protection (PIP) statements.
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a law degree from a fully accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with the Florida State Bar Association. A minimum of one year of personal injury experience is required, along with the ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases. Strong client service and communication skills, leadership abilities, and superior writing and oral advocacy skills are essential. A self-starter driven by long-term career goals is highly desirable.
