General Liability Pre Suit Attorney

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking a General Liability Pre Suit Attorney to join their Richmond, Virginia office. This role involves managing high-volume pre-litigation personal injury cases, primarily focusing on premises liability. The attorney will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to protecting consumer rights and ensuring fair compensation for clients.

Key responsibilities include handling all pre-litigation tasks, guiding clients through the case process, drafting and filing pre-litigation documents, overseeing settlement negotiations, and managing a team of 6–10 Case Managers. The attorney will also be responsible for completing liability approvals, managing the release approval process, and conducting examinations under oath (EUOs), personal injury protection (PIP) statements, and recorded statements.

Candidates must possess a law degree from a fully accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with the Virginia State Bar Association. A minimum of 1 year of general liability or personal injury experience is required, along with the ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases. Strong client service and communication skills, leadership abilities, and a self-starter attitude driven by long-term career goals are essential. Superior writing and oral advocacy skills, as well as a desire to become part of a trial team, are also important.
