As the General Ledger and Reporting Senior Accountant at Eurofins, you will play a pivotal role in executing general ledger processes for Eurofins Legal Entities (ELEs). Reporting to the Team Leader, you will ensure compliance with internal procedures and documentation standards, acting as a key partner to the National Service Center (NSC) and business units by providing expertise and support in accounting and process-related matters. Your contributions will be integral to the month-end close process, audit coordination, and financial analysis, while also driving continuous process improvements.

Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing and executing core general ledger activities to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process efficiency. You will handle end-to-end fixed assets processes, coordinate with business units and the NSC on assets under construction, perform asset additions and disposals, run depreciation, and resolve complex cases in line with accounting standards. Additionally, you will prepare and process journal entries, review and approve them for accuracy and compliance, perform intercompany reconciliations, and supervise end-to-end accounting processes for assigned legal entities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, intercompany, and treasury.

To be successful in this role, you should possess a higher education degree in finance or a related field, with a minimum of 3.5 years of experience in Record to Report (RtR) accounting, preferably within a Shared Services Center (SSC) or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) environment. Strong, clear, and professional communication skills tailored to audience needs are essential. You should demonstrate the ability to independently handle complex tasks with a strong sense of accountability, proactively identify potential risks, and respond effectively to challenges. A customer-focused approach, collaborative mindset, adaptability to change, and a commitment to continuous learning are also key attributes. Proficiency in financial consolidation and reporting tools, a deep knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required. English proficiency at a B2 level is necessary, and additional languages are a plus.

Eurofins offers a full-time contract with flexible working hours and a hybrid work model after training. The comprehensive onboarding and internal training program includes the first two months on-site. Attractive benefits include private medical care, meal vouchers (€10.20/day), an annual bonus scheme, a birthday day off, the Nomad Program, and a referral program.
