In this role, the General Counsel will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer contracts, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), security addenda, renewals, and amendments. The position involves direct negotiations with customer counsel and procurement teams to expedite deal closures while managing risk effectively. Additionally, the General Counsel will develop and maintain scalable contract systems, implement legal operations automation, and collaborate closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Security team on privacy frameworks and incident response.

Ideal candidates should possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and have substantial experience in contract negotiation and corporate governance within a SaaS or technology company. Strong judgment in evaluating legal, regulatory, and reputational risks is essential, along with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders. Experience in managing outside counsel and implementing legal operations automation is also highly desirable.

Compensation for this role includes an annual salary ranging from $225,000 to $300,000, complemented by equity and premium benefits.
