Fullstack Engineer
Lightning AI is seeking a Fullstack Engineer to contribute to the development and scaling of our end-to-end platform for AI systems. Founded in 2019, Lightning AI is the company behind PyTorch Lightning, dedicated to simplifying the journey from research to production in AI development. With offices in New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, and London, we serve a diverse clientele ranging from solo researchers to large enterprises.
In this role, you will be responsible for writing efficient and testable code in React and either Python or Go (Golang). Your day-to-day tasks will include delivering new features, enhancing system stability, and improving overall performance. Collaborating closely with engineering and product leaders, you will set the technical direction for large projects, evaluate and document technical architecture, and champion software quality through automation and continuous delivery.
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in React and either Go (Golang) or Python, with a preference for Go. A strong understanding of software engineering principles and lifecycle is essential, along with hands-on experience as a Fullstack Engineer in a SaaS technology company. The ability to take ownership of key features, drive end-to-end development, and effectively communicate and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers is crucial. Adaptability to operate in high uncertainty and rapidly changing environments is also important.
We offer a competitive compensation package, with an anticipated annual base salary range of $120,000 to $250,000 USD.
