Monks is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic business development and strategy team in Austin, United States. This role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to our organization's success through technology enablement, driving our technology vision forward across multiple initiatives.

As a senior full-stack software engineer, you will collaborate closely with other engineers, designers, and product managers to plan, design, build, and deploy high-quality software solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing reliable web applications and APIs, writing high-quality and testable code, participating in architectural decisions, utilizing software engineering pipeline tools, and researching and developing new technologies.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience, preferably working as part of a team, with deep knowledge of React, TypeScript, and JavaScript (Node). Experience with deploying containerized services to cloud computing platforms like AWS or Google Cloud, familiarity with relational database systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL, and a proven track record of designing, building, delivering, and maintaining critical web-based software are essential. Additionally, candidates should thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, be extremely organized and detail-oriented, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
